Something good to share, but pardon me if my english is not good enough.. :)

Once upon a time, there was a poor kid, staying in a small orphanage. He had low self-esteem, no friend, keeping head down everyday, feeling himself a piece of crap, wondering why should he be in the world.

One day, his guardian (angel) came to him with a small stone in his hand. He approached the kid and told him: "Okay kid, you take this stone, bring it to the small market in town, and try to sell it. But, remember, no matter how much you are offered for the stone, do not actually sell it away. Come back to me after the day."

The kid was really puzzling about what had been told. He wondered what was so special with that stone? He can easily get a similar stone just anywhere on the floor. Anyway, he just did as the guardian said, brought the stone down to the small market in town, found a corner place, sat down, put out the stone, and tried to sell it. He sat there quietly for half a day without anybody bothering him. After some times, there were a few people approached him and made offer to him on the stone. The price was low as less than a dollar. While the kid just did what had been told, rejected whatever offers he got. Surprisingly, miracle does happen. The offered price went up slowly to few dollars at the end of the day.

The kid went back to his guardian and told him about that, the guardian smiled, and told the kid, "Alright, tomorrow, you bring the stone down to one of the biggest market in town and do the same thing again. This time, you price the stone higher to 10 dollars. While remember, do not sell the stone away!". So the next day, the kid brought the stone with him to the bigger market, thinking, the people from the small market might be able to be fooled, but definitely not the people from one of the biggest market in town. However, he did the same thing again, got a corner place, sat down and started selling the stone. Again, nobody bothered about him at first, but slowly, there were people started staring at his stone, and offered to buy the stone. At the end of the day, the kid run back to his guardian and shouted: "There was a man offered to buy my stone at 80 dollars!!!"

The guardian smiled again, and told the kid, "Let's try something bigger. Tomorrow you bring the stone down to the crystal exhibition hall in the town to sell your stone. Raise your price to 500 dollars, but do not sell it away." The kid stunned. Can this little stone fools those crystal experts in the exhibision hall? He did the same thing again the next day, and the stone worth more that 5 thousands dollars at the end of the day.

The moral of the story is, do not underestimate yourself, anybody or anything. It is all about marketing, everything will have it's tremendous value under a certain environment, condition. Even a normal stone can worth thousands of dollars. Ask yourself, have you found yourself the right market?

it's been more than a year since my last entry... time flies!!!

just a short summary in the past 1 year ++

- mum went into hospital because of potential stroke. wow, luckily go hospital on time, and not that serious now. Was rushing from sg back to hometown with my car.. speeding like hell!! hohoho..

- turning from nothing much to do in office into working like hell in office, and now back to nothing much to do... still remember have been few months time that i work my butt out to fix all the damn bugs in our system. almost everyday 4am to 11pm of work!!! Good thing is that finally the system have gone LIVE for 2 months plus and no critical issue being raised so far.. hhhhoooooooooooooooooo

- have been driving for more than a year. sometimes still keep thinking is it worth to own a car, the monthly expense is really high by having a car.. BUT, heck care lar, just work harder to feed it lor.. since it's a dream since i was a kid to own a car.. wahahahaha.

- still keep in touch with ex-singtel bunch, even though outing not as frequent as last time, but still manage to have one gathering every month. thks to some of the "active members". hehe

- until now.. still working for ppl.. looking at one of the folder in my pc, almost 10 documents bout different biz idea, but all just keep planning planning planning and never materialize.. kaoz. getting old liao... stressful man!!! 2 more years, if nothing happen, i am done liao.. hahaha.

- start trading stock in sg market. win and lose, ended up break even... but will keep it going.. investment is the key!!!

- went hk with my whole family, 9 persons of us!!! visited the new disneyland, not bad but mood might be spoilt by those china man and auntie from time to time in there... first time going on oversea vacation with my parents.. next target - australia!!!

okay.. lunch break for now..

feeling so cold in the office today.. long holiday coming, now really bo mood to do work liao... applied leave on both wed and fri.. so thu early in the morning will go back hometown liao.. sunday morning only come back to sg...

lazy and bo mood to work now ler.. waiting for lunch time now.. so damn hungry now..

after lunch, feeling a bit sleepy now.. my boss half day leave, went off liao.. so, today should be considered as a holiday for me.. wahahahaha!!!!

Conclusion..

after 3 days of findings... 2 options for me now..

1. go back BM to repair and go thru my own insurance, pay the $500 excess.. then BM will help me to prepare those document to claim back the excess and loss of car use from the malaysia insurance company.. but they said will take up to 6-12 months time to get back the claim.. after getting back the claim, inform my insurance company, then my NCB will not be reduced.. [the good thing for this is i can get back the original part from toyota, not affecting the bumper warranty, they said once i get all the police report done, normally will be able to take back the claim, it's the matter of time, BUT not guarantee..]

2. found one outside workshop, they will help to claim direct to the third party insurance from malaysia insurance company, and i do not need to fork out a single cent.. but since this is not from toyota, so my bumper's warranty will be voided. [the good thing for this is i do not need to fork out a single cent to repair the car, no need to worry bout my NCB, insurance record. BUT the bumper warranty will be voided, and i am not sure will they do a proper job or not, will they secretly replace some parts of my car?? hmm.... The workshop is AUTOEXCEL ENGINEERING PTE LTD, located at around the sin min drive there.. from IDAC panel]

walao.. today really damn damn damn suay!!! Just a few days, my new car kena wack liao!!! The most stupid thing is, the driving speed only around 30 to 40, wat the hell is the guy doing.. the whole road is so jam and traffic so slow, yet he still can manage to hit me from my back.. KAOZ!!

And some more the car is KL car... I just took down their particular nia.. hopefully they dun run away or avoid my call after i repair my car.. pray pray...

Had taken half day leave today go checkup the car, wow, need 4k++ for the repair, coz it's a new car, they cant just do some minor repair.. No choice, gotta either claim mine or that driver de insurance liao.. He already agreed to file all the necessary report and let me claim his side de insurance liao.. but he only can come to sg police station to file the report by tomolo night, just hope that he don't change his mind or anything... If i claim my side de insurance, then i will have a bad record, and next year de insurance got no more discount liao... total will be almost 1k loses... kaoz.

he better don't change his mind, else will consider to sue him!!!

after reading friend's blog, just to share something..

actually, having somthing bothering u is not really a bad thing. we are born with a brain, so we have to use it.. if one got nothing to think about, having a brain for wat.. haha..
there are full of challenges and obstacle in our life, which make the life is so much interesting (at least i think so, haha)!! be optimistic is the key!

there are only 4 things i can do when i encounter some troubles.

1. try ur best (ur very best) to change the situation and overcome the trouble.

2. if there is no way to change the situation and the first option fails, change urself. make urself to suit the situation.

3. if u can't change urself to suit the situation, and the second option fails, that's probably nothing much u can do, try to think from the other angles. Most of the times, from one angle, somthing can be a trouble, but from the other angle, it can be something GOOD!!

4. if option 3 still fails, then just ignore the problem. There are so much things to care about in ur life other than this stupid "unresolvable" trouble.

normally it's very rare that somethings can reach the 4th option.. haha.

life is meant to be HAPPY!! dun make urself down just because of some stupid troubles... BE HAPPY!!!

oooooooohhhh, monday morning, nothing much to do now.. go see my boss later to get somthing to do.. haha.. just back from KL last night.. let me recap a bit first, haha..

friday evening, after work 6pm, quickily rushed myself to jb to get the rented car. A bit rush, coz have to collect it before 8.30pm. But after reaching jb, only 8pm, so went for dinner first, then walked to the office there to take the car. The car was a Proton Waja, 1600cc auto. After collecting the car, went to citysquare, try to buy myself a pair of sandal, but surprisingly, can't find any simple sandal in such a beg shopping mall, kaoz, jb ppl dun like to wear sandal de bah.. hahaha.. so just got 2 bottles of mineral water and headed off to kl..

driving at night really quite tiring, but still okay lar.. average 120km/h, almost 4 hours of driving, reached kl liao. Then started looking for the hotel that we have booked.. nightmare started.. I kept driving, kept going to the wrong direction, ended up, when i entered into the hotel room, it was already 4am++.. oh no, so damn tired.

The next day morning, 7+ gotta wake up liao, started for the whole day activities.. also driving from place to place.. by the time finished everything, already 5pm++, went sunway pyramid catched a movie, Unleashed. After that, headed back to hotel liao...

Sunday morning, woke up a bit late, prepared to checkout liao.. then went to bandar sunway for another appointment. After that, walked pass a shop selling those animal, like python, crocodile, and those other wild animal.. happened to watch one python swallowing a big chicken.. wow, live show man.. but only have time to watch till halfway, after half an hour, it still not able to finish the whole chicken, so damn slow.. haha.. after that, get onto the car and headed back to jb liao...

10+ reached jb, returned the car and back to sg..

This ended the short trip to kl.. Quite a useful trip.. haha.. okay lar.. this post should be long enough for my blogging practice liao.. hahaha...

new deadBlog skin

got my blog a new skin.. saw other ppl keep changing the skin, so i tried to get a new one also, since nothing much to do during lunch time.. haha

hmm.. finally my company converted me to a permanent staff. First time being a perm staff in my career, wahahaha.. officially started from 1st July... This is something quite important and positive to me, so record it down.. hehe... On the same day (1st July), went to suntec to attend the bill gate live event. Just so so only, bill gate just spoke for like 30+ mins, then the rest were carried out by other ppl. The funny thing is that, damn a lot of ppl fall asleep during billgate speech, wahaha... funny..

Then after that, one microsoft GM did the demo on MSN, Windows Longhorn... Got a quite interesting speech was given by the Creative CEO. Something quite meaningful in his speech. "Dream big and believe in your dream.", this is quite true that everything in this world is started off from a dream, like dream of flying which leads to the invention of aeroplane.... so guys, let's dream!!! hahaha...

gotta back to work liao.. update again next time bah.. probably few months later??? haha..

Just to share something...

Whoever still drop by to read my deadBlog, do you still remember what ambition(s) you have written for your composition during your primary school? teacher? engineer? scientist? travel around the world? Do you still remember? Have you achieved that?

Recently have given such thought myself, i barely remember wat are those ambition I have set when i was young already... Think at our age now, better make it clear bout wat you want to achieve in ur life and work towards them.. Everybody wants to have a successful, meaningful life.. but how successful is successful? how meaningful is meaningful? It's time for us to really think about it before dropping into the rat race and regret...

think about wat u wanna do in ur life.. travel to how many number of countries? do charity work to help some poor ppl? running ur own biz? be a company's director? be a good wife to teach ur kids at home? millionaire? make yourself clear bout that and work for it!!! Lets work hard for ourselves!!! nothing is impossible!!!

Have watched the nkf show yesterday... feel like damn a lot of gan chu.. why there are so many unlucky people in our world? I saw some of them really very ke lian.. Its not only one ppl, but the whole family is sufferring.. We must feel very lucky now, as we still can sit back and relax at home to watch such a show..

At first after making the 200++ donation accidentally, I feel like a bit bu she de.. but after keep watching those real cases, even 2000 is nothing man... imagine those patients gotta do the injection few times a week, they are so much more ke lian... hai.. anyway, this is real world.. the only thing we can do is try to provide our help to such poor ppl surrounding us..

Just to remind those reading my deadblog.. pls dun wait, just do wat you can, even it's only one call, it really helps.. When asking for donation, ppl always say "wait till i got a certain amount of money in my bank, then i will make donation.." but when he reach that amount, he will say again "wait till i got bigger amount, then i can make more donation.", and this excuse will be used again and again and again.. 5 bucks, 10 bucks, for us is nothing, just imagine how many 5 bucks u can earn in ur life? But these few bucks for those patients are like gold.. There maybe some ppl just because can't afford the few hundred dollars and can't get the necessary treatment.. how sad is this..

So why wait, if got no money, think of something to do to help.. I got a friend in canada, he occasionally will make cookies, cake, sell out and try to raise money for charity.. this is really something we gotta learn..

just bath, still awake, went to read other ppl de blog.. they really update their blog so frequent ler.. paiseh.. haha.. after 3 months, here is my new post again.. wahahha

finally my probation period in premas over liao, gotta feel up the appraisal form liao.. monday only give it to my boss.. see wat he will say.. hehe.. think i will write quite long de suggestion in the form.. especially bout the stupid server guy... delay my thing just because of him.. kaoz!!

but so far.. working in premas quite okay lar.. the only prob is i gotta travel 3 hrs each days from my home to office, then from office back to home.. damn tiring man... but something i like in this company is that.. they won't check for mc, then my TL also can simply give me "unofficial timeoff" one.. wahaha.. song!!

recently like so many things to do.. piling up liao.. but a bit lazy ler... hai.. really paiseh.. must work hard to clear them off liao.. if continue lazy like that, can't meet my target liao.. haha..

finally i am back.. after a 3 months ++ break.. hehe. after this 3 months, suppose to have a lot of thing to write, but i still got no idea wat to record here..

I have really been thru quite a lot of things in this 3 months, stopped working in STA after 4 years of contract, 3 months of jobless life with some freelance projects, moved into my new house, get my favorite thing, home theater system, faced some personal issues, kinda lost and no direction in my life, then finally get a new job at bedok that makes me spend more than 2 1/2 hours each day for getting to and back from office... anyway, most of them are all part of my history now, just look forward!!

It's really sux when u live ur life without any objective or direction... just work, sleep, play, work, sleep, play, that's real bad, especially when u still gotta face some other problems, it's even terrible.. cannot let them happen again in the future.. haha...

oops.. already 1am now, gotta go sleep now, tomolo go office continue again bah...

nothing much to do, so come in here to update my deadBlog... today whole day staying at home, online and sleep.. really waste of time.. really dun feel like want to continue my contract liao, but the agency told me that maybe got direct contract for me, so just wait for her to call me back tomolo bah... see how is the package like, then only consider lor...

late night now... since nothing to do, have just get some whisky.. haha.. drunk again? nolar.. just to drink a bit lor.. hopefully by the time i go to bed, i am not drunk.. haha... drink a bit enough le.. hehe...

if the contract thing turns out to be negative, tomolo gotta get my ass back to office to clear off my remaining stuff, then return the staff pass and key liao.. and maybe backup my files into CD bah... must get the thing settle fast, so that i can plan for my trip and go san san xin...

oh.. johnnie walker neat is really bitter.. haha.. but still okay lar.. drink a bit more, quite nice also.. haha.. Still damn awake ler.. can't really sleep, jia lat...

think my mind is getting clearer and clearer.. there is something i gotta decide real soon... hopefully i can make the correct decision... Anyway, be a man, make the decision and no regret!!! YEAH!

haha.. finally my contract with singtel ended.. will start become jobless next week.. think think, 4 yrs agent contract in singtel liao, still dun even have direct contract or perm post.. even thou my pay is quite okay, but really buay song liao.. haha.. so, bye bye!!

still dun have any offer yet.. think gotta lower down my expectation liao.. anyway, dun get a job so soon also good, can have a short break for my working life.. 2 weeks? hehe.. planning to go langkawi to refresh myself ler.. haha.. maybe will go alone there to take a break... nv been there before.. go there, rent a car, got duty free shop, can drink till drunk also won't cost much.. wahahaha...

it's another week ahead.. so fast mondy liao.. Probably, this week will be the last week i work in singtel... With the annual leave i have, my last day will be on thursday, hmm... 4 more days to go, if din renew my contract... See how is the reply from the user side before deciding whether to renew or not..

oh.. so fast, staying in singtel for 4 years liao, 4 years of agent contract.. wahaha... what a joke.. Anyway, have made a bunch of good friends and colleagues here, good... :)

Thinking of having 1 or 2 weeks off after my contract, go walk walk and refresh myself.. never try to back pack alone before, may try out and see how is the feeling.. haha... where to go leh?? Think think... hmm... pulao langkawi, thailand, taiwan... Think also SONG.. hahahaa..

Damn hungry now.. that jiao kia just sms said no need to wait for him for breakfast.. then let's wait for peiyi bah... grrrrr.....

While waiting for some data, update my blog in server room again... haha, SONG!!

just told by kl, the budget for my post will be similar as my current budget... so, the increment will not be that much... hmm.. gotta consider liao.. if totally no increment at all, then i think probably i will not continue liao... at least there must be certain increment, else, i can't even convince myself to continue.. haha... but still, thing is still not confirmed yet, user side still waiting for the budget approval, think by today will know bah...

if din continue, and still can't get a job, think i gotta lower down my expectation stated in my resume liao, if not, no income, will really broke one day... hahahaha..

so fast, wednesday liao, few more days before my contract ends. Have been working in singtel for 4 years, contributing 4 yrs of shit here.. haha.. Finally, I may soon put an end to it, but everything is still not confirm yet, let's wait and see what will happen.. Wish myself all the best!

wow.. getting a bit cold in the server room, and i am getting sick liao, block nose whole night yesterday... hopefully can recover before friday, got my favorite badminton session ler.. hahaha.. Sick also must go play.. :)

a few days din come update my blog already... okay lar, give face a bit, write something bah...

friday morning now, not doing any work yet... waiting to go down for breakfast, a bit hungry now. Got a badminton session today after work, hopefully can go down by 5.30pm sharp.. haha. Every week also cannot make it on time, but today must be on time!!

Those bloggie kaki all suddenly like very interested in love matters.. haha, keep posting in chinese some more... Anyway, I managed to drop a comment in chinese too.. hahahaha... But I admit that their post is quite meaningful and true... Just view it as one of the challenge in my life lor.. hahaha....

Recently, I am like back to normal liao... but its either i have my prob fixed, or I have get used to the prob, I also dunno, haha... jia lat... sometimes, i really dunno what i am doing, dun even understand myself... wow, that feeling really sux... Really can't imagine i will be like this.. OMG!!!

Anyway, there will always be a better tomorrow... :)

oh, 2 days din touch this blog liao.. let's update a bit bah..

today really a busy friday... rush like hell for the evening badminton session.. haha.. but still din get a chance to play a single game with ahbeng.. next friday we sure go down at 5.30pm for that... hahahaah.. As usual, i sweat like hell after the badminton.. but it's fun, get a chance to smash the shuttlecock to release some stress.. hahaahah.. SONG..

before the badminton session, we just celebrated ahbeng's birthday in office, cut a cake.. even thou i was busying with my work at that time, but i still manage to sing the birthday song for him.. haha.. okay lar.. siao eh, Happy Birthday to u bah.. hahaha.. SONG BO?? :)

wow, already 12.55AM now, think gotta go to bed soon... but still dun feel like want to sleep.. let's stay awake awhile more bah... is this week a better week for me? it did look better, but is it really better? haha.. dunno.. hopefully bah... This is life....

let's stop here first.. next time continue, maybe 2 or 3 days later bah.. hahaha...

today really a bit lazy.. din do much work today.... gotta rush a bit tomolo liao.. haha

almost 4.30pm now, time to write my blog.. think not going down for tea-break le bah, nobody initiate it yet.. haha. Anyway, a bit full also, after drinking the fan shu tang.. haha

still got lot's of thing stuck in my mind, but one day i will sure sort it out.. :)

Going to town after work today, will have a dinner and maybe buy something bah... something useful.. but still dunno where and what to eat yet...

monday again, new week ahead..

today reached office damn early, 8.15am reached liao... become the earliest to reach office among the gang.. haha..

i really thanks to all my friends that really concern bout me. I am alright, no worry.. Thanks. Today i feel damn fresh, can only sense the good things waiting for me.. wahaha.. I really gotta do my job to bring some more fun into the office.. Cannot let the office sick for too long.. :)

And if anybody need any of my help, just one msg in icq or msn, i am at your service.. :)

mid-night movie...

just back from the mid-night movie, The Terminal... it's a nice movie, but really a bit tired liao.. almost fall asleep during the show.. but still managed to finish the whole show without sleeping.. haha..

just took bath, hair still wet... think awhile more only go sleep... then, what to do now? haha.. listen to my mp3.. yeah!!

ooh, just get over my regular sleepy time slot... but still do not have the mood to touch my office work.. haha.. chang ming gong fu chang ming zuo....

haha, just now was the first time i eat so little in a lunch buffet, really no appetite to eat much... maybe food not nice bah.. haha.. what else can i blame? :) after lunch, no choice but to take bus with ahbeng and my ex-boss, but still okay mar... we chit chat all the way back to office, talk about going to hongkong... hmm, not too bad as u guys thinking.. hahahaha..

our office really sick liao.. maybe i am sick also.. hahahahahaha... 2 more hours, then will be officially off work, what to do or where to go then? still deciding.. look forward to have a great friday night...

This is my second post into my deadBlog, not right to be another testing post liao.. haha.. at least must write something liao... haha..

like what our ah beng ma said, these days, office really damn quiet till a bit scary... maybe i am part of the reason causing that, and most of us also quite busy with work... for me, really dun have the mood to joke around... one more hour will be friday, weekend is coming, but i dun really have the weekend mood as usual.. My mind is really tied down by something... Hopefully i can get over all these... and back to the old joker deadGalaxy.. haha... I know I will soon be back... stay tuned!! hahahaha

tomolo friday, I will sure be asked bout what to do or where to go after work... hmm.. hopefully we will be having an enjoyable and relax friday night... look forwards to that... but frankly, where to go? billard, ktv, bowling, movie... what else? haha.. like nothing much to do.. life is boring man...
