Something good to share, but pardon me if my english is not good enough.. :)

Once upon a time, there was a poor kid, staying in a small orphanage. He had low self-esteem, no friend, keeping head down everyday, feeling himself a piece of crap, wondering why should he be in the world.

One day, his guardian (angel) came to him with a small stone in his hand. He approached the kid and told him: "Okay kid, you take this stone, bring it to the small market in town, and try to sell it. But, remember, no matter how much you are offered for the stone, do not actually sell it away. Come back to me after the day."

The kid was really puzzling about what had been told. He wondered what was so special with that stone? He can easily get a similar stone just anywhere on the floor. Anyway, he just did as the guardian said, brought the stone down to the small market in town, found a corner place, sat down, put out the stone, and tried to sell it. He sat there quietly for half a day without anybody bothering him. After some times, there were a few people approached him and made offer to him on the stone. The price was low as less than a dollar. While the kid just did what had been told, rejected whatever offers he got. Surprisingly, miracle does happen. The offered price went up slowly to few dollars at the end of the day.

The kid went back to his guardian and told him about that, the guardian smiled, and told the kid, "Alright, tomorrow, you bring the stone down to one of the biggest market in town and do the same thing again. This time, you price the stone higher to 10 dollars. While remember, do not sell the stone away!". So the next day, the kid brought the stone with him to the bigger market, thinking, the people from the small market might be able to be fooled, but definitely not the people from one of the biggest market in town. However, he did the same thing again, got a corner place, sat down and started selling the stone. Again, nobody bothered about him at first, but slowly, there were people started staring at his stone, and offered to buy the stone. At the end of the day, the kid run back to his guardian and shouted: "There was a man offered to buy my stone at 80 dollars!!!"

The guardian smiled again, and told the kid, "Let's try something bigger. Tomorrow you bring the stone down to the crystal exhibition hall in the town to sell your stone. Raise your price to 500 dollars, but do not sell it away." The kid stunned. Can this little stone fools those crystal experts in the exhibision hall? He did the same thing again the next day, and the stone worth more that 5 thousands dollars at the end of the day.

The moral of the story is, do not underestimate yourself, anybody or anything. It is all about marketing, everything will have it's tremendous value under a certain environment, condition. Even a normal stone can worth thousands of dollars. Ask yourself, have you found yourself the right market?

bloggin once in a blue moon

it's been more than a year since my last entry... time flies!!!

just a short summary in the past 1 year ++

- mum went into hospital because of potential stroke. wow, luckily go hospital on time, and not that serious now. Was rushing from sg back to hometown with my car.. speeding like hell!! hohoho..

- turning from nothing much to do in office into working like hell in office, and now back to nothing much to do... still remember have been few months time that i work my butt out to fix all the damn bugs in our system. almost everyday 4am to 11pm of work!!! Good thing is that finally the system have gone LIVE for 2 months plus and no critical issue being raised so far.. hhhhoooooooooooooooooo

- have been driving for more than a year. sometimes still keep thinking is it worth to own a car, the monthly expense is really high by having a car.. BUT, heck care lar, just work harder to feed it lor.. since it's a dream since i was a kid to own a car.. wahahahaha.

- still keep in touch with ex-singtel bunch, even though outing not as frequent as last time, but still manage to have one gathering every month. thks to some of the "active members". hehe

- until now.. still working for ppl.. looking at one of the folder in my pc, almost 10 documents bout different biz idea, but all just keep planning planning planning and never materialize.. kaoz. getting old liao... stressful man!!! 2 more years, if nothing happen, i am done liao.. hahaha.

- start trading stock in sg market. win and lose, ended up break even... but will keep it going.. investment is the key!!!

- went hk with my whole family, 9 persons of us!!! visited the new disneyland, not bad but mood might be spoilt by those china man and auntie from time to time in there... first time going on oversea vacation with my parents.. next target - australia!!!

okay.. lunch break for now..

cold and lazy monday

feeling so cold in the office today.. long holiday coming, now really bo mood to do work liao... applied leave on both wed and fri.. so thu early in the morning will go back hometown liao.. sunday morning only come back to sg...

lazy and bo mood to work now ler.. waiting for lunch time now.. so damn hungry now..

after lunch, feeling a bit sleepy now.. my boss half day leave, went off liao.. so, today should be considered as a holiday for me.. wahahahaha!!!!

Conclusion..

after 3 days of findings... 2 options for me now..

1. go back BM to repair and go thru my own insurance, pay the $500 excess.. then BM will help me to prepare those document to claim back the excess and loss of car use from the malaysia insurance company.. but they said will take up to 6-12 months time to get back the claim.. after getting back the claim, inform my insurance company, then my NCB will not be reduced.. [the good thing for this is i can get back the original part from toyota, not affecting the bumper warranty, they said once i get all the police report done, normally will be able to take back the claim, it's the matter of time, BUT not guarantee..]

2. found one outside workshop, they will help to claim direct to the third party insurance from malaysia insurance company, and i do not need to fork out a single cent.. but since this is not from toyota, so my bumper's warranty will be voided. [the good thing for this is i do not need to fork out a single cent to repair the car, no need to worry bout my NCB, insurance record. BUT the bumper warranty will be voided, and i am not sure will they do a proper job or not, will they secretly replace some parts of my car?? hmm.... The workshop is AUTOEXCEL ENGINEERING PTE LTD, located at around the sin min drive there.. from IDAC panel]

Damn SUAY AR!!!!!!!!!!

walao.. today really damn damn damn suay!!! Just a few days, my new car kena wack liao!!! The most stupid thing is, the driving speed only around 30 to 40, wat the hell is the guy doing.. the whole road is so jam and traffic so slow, yet he still can manage to hit me from my back.. KAOZ!!

And some more the car is KL car... I just took down their particular nia.. hopefully they dun run away or avoid my call after i repair my car.. pray pray...

SUAY SUAY...

Had taken half day leave today go checkup the car, wow, need 4k++ for the repair, coz it's a new car, they cant just do some minor repair.. No choice, gotta either claim mine or that driver de insurance liao.. He already agreed to file all the necessary report and let me claim his side de insurance liao.. but he only can come to sg police station to file the report by tomolo night, just hope that he don't change his mind or anything... If i claim my side de insurance, then i will have a bad record, and next year de insurance got no more discount liao... total will be almost 1k loses... kaoz.

he better don't change his mind, else will consider to sue him!!!

Finally got my car.. Toyota Altis 1.6!!! :)

But, dunno buying a car now will be a bad bad decision or not.. Expenses will be much much higher from now onwards.. Anyway, no regret, work hard and look forwards...
